Several wounded in Iran’s parliament, Imam Khomeini’s Mausoleum shooting

A number of armed men have opened fire at the Iranian parliament and the shrine of Imam Khomeini in the capital, Tehran, Iranian media report.

According to Tasnim news agency, eight people have been injured so far in the shooting attack on Wednesday.

“A person entered Iranian parliament today and started shooting at the guards. He shot one of the guards in the leg and ran away,” the two semi-official Iranian news agencies, Fars and Mehr reported on their telegram feeds.
