KABUL: (MEP) – A strong explosion, likely to be a suicide bombing, took place Wednesday morning in Pashtonkot district of northwestern Faryab province.
Afghan National Army (ANA) spokesman told media that the explosion took place in Takhta-Bazaar village of Pashtonkot.
Muhammad Reza Rezai added all the injured people were civilians.
The district governor of Faryab also confirmed the incident, saying it was a roadside bombing not a suicide explosion.
He said the injured people were transported to the hospital.
