Taliban Claims Kabul Blast
KABUL (MEP) –the blast in front of the ANA commando base in Rishkhor killed 4 soldiers and wounded 3 others, said MoD.
An explosion occurred near the gate of the ANA Special Forces Training Camp in Rishkhor area of Chahar Asiab district of Kabul at 12:50 pm today Thursday, September 12, MEP reports.
The Ministry of Defense said in a newsletter that the incident stemmed from a car bomb attack.
“A suicide bomber on board a Mercedes, suicide attacked on Afghan army’s special operations training base,” the newsletter said.
The newsletter says four soldiers were killed and three others were wounded in the attack.
The armed Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
Armed Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in a tweet that their attacker exploded his vehicle-borne improvised explosive device inside the ANA camp.
