Taliban District Chief For Nangarhar’s Chaparhar District Slain
MEP: As a result of joint security forces raid in Khogyani district of eastern Nangarhar province, the armed Taliban shadow district chief for the province, was killed.
Ataullah Khogyani, spokesman for the governor of Nangarhar told the Middle East Press the operation was launched last night in Pera Khel area of Khogyani district.
He said more than 30 militants including three local commanders and the Taliban district chief for Chaparhar district have been killed and several others wounded.
According to Khogyani, in the similar operations in Haska Mina district, six members of Daesh terrorist group were also killed.
