Taliban Fully Seizes Helmand’s Khanshin District

MEP: Local officials in Helmand province say security forces have tactical retreated from the district of Khanshin.

Omar Zwak, spokesman for the governor of Helmand province confirmed the report to the Middle East Press saying clashes are ongoing in parts of the district.

However, the armed Taliban said they have captured the governmental and administrative departments in the district as a whole.
