Armed Taliban members on Saturday night once again poured to the central of Berka district and clashed with security forces for several hours.
Local officials say, in the Taliban past midnight attack on one of the shells, the two sides suffered casualties.
Mohammad Ali Ebrahimi, the district police chief of Berka told the Middle East Press, the Taliban had planned to expand their attacks by seizing the shell that were faced with security forces resistance.
He said two soldiers were killed and two others injured in the clashes and the Taliban also suffered casualties but the exact figure is not known yet.
Meanwhile, Ebrahimi said the security forces need more military aid to fight against the group.
The attack comes as a month ago the armed Taliban carried out heavy attacks on the district twice that retreated by suffering heavy casualties on both sides.
Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
Residents of the district, are also calling for more military aid to security forces and urge the government to send more powers to suppress opponents of the government in the district.
