MEP: US Secretary of State John Kerry in a meeting with leaders of the National Unity Government (NUG) of Afghanistan reiterated his country’s support.
Kerry, on the sidelines of the Brussels summit hold a separate talks with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah, the chief executive.
The meeting that was conducted individually, John Kerry has reiterated America’s support in Afghanistan and said that America wants stability in Afghanistan.
The latest political situation – security, peace, regional relations and priorities of the national unity government were discussed during the meetings.
Both sides have stressed on the principle of joint cooperation between Afghanistan and the international community, the success of the national unity government and cooperation between government leaders to implement the political agreement and exit of country’s challenges.
The two-day Brussels summit is ongoing.
