Zabul Blast Leaves Three Killed, Including Police Officer

KABUL: (MEP) A roadside mine explosion has reportedly claimed the lives of three people and wounded another on Friday afternoon in southern Zabul province, local officials said.

The attack occurred in Seori Tapi area of the provincial capital Qalat which exploded on a civilian vehicle killing three people on spot.

The dead included one police officer and a child, and the injured after being transferred to the regional hospital, is reported to be in critical condition, according to security sources.

 No group including Taliban insurgents claimed responsibility for the attack.
