14 Shiites, Was Sentenced To Life Imprisonment In Bahrain
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A court in Bahrain for the country’s Shiites, 14 people were accused of intentional murder of a police officer during a demonstration against the Government, issued the warrant life imprisonment.
A judicial source said the people of Bahrain announced the charges of “premeditated murder”, possessing incendiary bombs and other explosive devices, as well as participating in the illegal protests and without a license in the vicinity of, ” Manama” capital of Bahrain, have been sentenced to life imprisonment.
These people held a demonstration during a 3 day about one and a half months ago in the Shiite area of “Stra” had been arrested.
Judicial sources said a Bahraini policeman was killed in bomb blasts in the trenches.
Also, dozens of Shiites in Bahrain on charges related to participation in violent demonstrations against the regime, have received long term prison sentences so far.
