17 Taliban Killed, 62 IEDs Seized in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 17 Taliban insurgents were killed and 62 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were seized during afghan military operations by Afghan national security forces.
According to The Ministry of Interior (MoI) at least 22 Taliban insurgents were also wounded conducted by Afghan National Police (ANP), Afghan National Army and Afghan Intelligence – National Directorate of Security (NDS) forces.
MoI said following a statement the operations were conducted in Nangarhar, Laghman, Badakhshan, Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Ghazni, Khost and Farah provinces.
Another militant was also arrested by Afghan national security forces during the operations, MoI said, adding that various types of weapons and ammunition were discovered and confiscated by the security forces.
The IEDs were taken away from Kandahar, Paktiak, Herat and Helmand provinces, MoI said.
The terrorist groups have not commented about the reports yet.
