19 Insurgents Killed in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least nineteen insurgents have been killed in the past 24 hours, reports say.
The interior ministry of Afghanistan says, the operations were conducted by Afghan National Police and National Directorate of Security personnel in Nangarhar, Parwan, Baghlan, Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Maidan Wardak, Logar, Ghazni, Khost and Paktika provinces.
A statement released by the ministry states that two insurgents were also injured during the operations and another arrested.
The statement added that 4 IDS were defused and admonitions were seized from the position of the rebels.
