2 European women shot dead in Herat

According to report the two foreign women were aid workers have been working in a non-governmental organization (NGO) and were serving in health sector.

Interior ministry spokesman, Sediq Sediqi, confirmed that two foreigners were shot dead by unknown gunmen.

Sediqi said a huge investigation and hunt operation has been launched to detain the attackers’ militants.

Local security officials in Herat province said the two female aid workers were travelling in a taxi vehicle when they were attacked by gunmen.
