2 Suicide Bombers Arrested In Nangarhar Along With A 16 Year Old Teenage

KABUL: (Middle East Press) two suicide bombers including a teenager were arrested by Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province.

The Afghan Intelligence – National Directorate of Security (NDS) said Thursday that the two suicide bombers were set to carry out suicide attack in Nangarhar.

A statement released by NDS said a suicide bomber recognized as Sobhanullah was arrested by intelligence operatives. The bomber was originally from Khogyani district.

The statement further added that another suicide bomber, Amanullah, who is only 16-year-old, was arrested in a different operation.

NDS said Amanullah was originally a resident of Shirzad district and was appointed by Taliban group leader Jafarullah to carry the suicide attack.

The statement by NDS also added that another Taliban commander, Jalaluddin, was arrested in a separate operation in Nangarhar province.

According to NDS, the detained Taliban commander was involved in planting magnetic bombs and other insurgency actions along with his six militants.

The Taliban militants group has not yet commented regarding the report.
