21-Year-Old Girl Killed By Her Brother In Kunduz

MEP: A 21-year-old girl has been killed by her ten year old brother in Khanabad district of Kunduz province.

Hayatullah Amiri, the district’s governor told the Middle East Press, the young girl was killed yesterday evening in the area of Shorabak by as a result of gun shot.

The murder occurred mistakenly by her brother, he said.

Amiri added that none has been arrested so far in connection with the murder and investigations to clarify the cause of the incident started.

The report comes as during the past three weeks, four murders and suicides of women and girls in the northern provinces have been reported.
