45 Taliban militants kills in Helmand province by NATO airstrike
KABUL: (MEP) – At least 45 Taliban militants were killed following an airstrike by NATO-led International coalition security forces in southern Helmand province of Afghanistan, Khaama reported.
According to a statement released by Hemand provincial government media department, the militants were killed in Deshu and Khanshin districts of Helmand province.
The statement further added that the militants had just returned after carrying out an offensive in Chahar Bolok district of Nimroz province, when they were targeted by NATO airstrike.
Taliban militants group yet to comment regarding the report.
