75 Taliban Insurgents Killed, Injured in Uruzgan and Khost Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 28 Taliban insurgents were killed and 47 others were injured following clearing operations in southeastern Khost and central Uruzgan provinces.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said following a statement Wednesday, the operations were jointly conducted by Afghan national police, Afghan national army and Afghan intelligence – national directorate of security (NDS) forces.
Mol added, the operations were conducted in Laghman, Kunduz, Nangarhar, Badakhshan, Balkh, Kandahar, Zabul and Paktia provinces.
Various types of weapons, ammunition and explosives, including 23 rounds of improvised explosive device (IED) were also confiscated during the operations.
The insurgents groups have not commented about the report yet.
