8 Workers of a de-mining Group Abducted by Militants in Logar
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Taliban militants have abducted at least eight workers of a de-mining organization in central Logar province on Friday.
Officials said, the incident took place in Pul-e-Alam, the central district of Logar province.
According to provincial governor spokesman Din Mohammad Darwish, Taliban militants also torched three vehicles of the de-mining organization after kidnapping the personnel.
Darwish said two de-mining workers and six drivers were among those kidnapped.
He said the workers were serving with the HALO Trust de-mining organization and they were taken to Mohammad Agha district.
The Taliban militants group has not made comment regarding the report yet.
