Armed Taliban Release 106 Prisoners
MEP: The armed Taliban have released 106 detainees from prison according to “Mullah Heybatollah” decree, leader of the group and on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
The group published on its official website that 106 prisoners were released from different parts of the country.
With the spread of Taliban attacks in southern and central Afghanistan, some experts believe that this group use new tactics in their operations.
A few days before when some districts of Uruzgan province had fallen into the hands of the armed Taliban in central Afghanistan, the group had announced a general amnesty for security forces and civil servants in this province.
