Taliban Commander With Four Of His Men Killed In Faryab
MEP: Security officials in Faryab Province of pushing Taliban offensive attacks reported saying four members of the group, including a senior commander of the group were killed and three others were injured.
Faryab police chief Brig. Gen. Abdul Nabi Elham told the Middle East Press, the armed Taliban have launched a coordinated attack on security posts last night in Jarqalah area of Pashtun Kot District that faced with resistance of the security forces.
The deceased commander of the group was identified as Mullah Mohammad Amin.
According to the police chief of Faryab, the armed Taliban have fled the area after facing defeat.
