Taliban’s Bomb-Making Center Discovered In Takhar

MEP: The National Security officers have discovered a center of armed Taliban mines-making in Khwaja Ghar District of Takhar province.

The center was unveiled during a special operation in the village of Qoroq, a statement by NDS said on Monday.

The statement adds, the center has been a place of mine making and organizing of terrorist’s destruction activities.

NDS says, 25 anti-personnel mines, two anti-vehicle mines, three magnetic mines, two own-making roadside mines, 5 shot ball of 82 with the right and push it, three rockets, three RPG7 mortar Shells, 3 remote control, 35 bed remote control, 100m explosives fires, 16 kilograms of explosives, one set of prepared mobile to have a bomb, a suicide vest, 50 mortar right Souk, 12 appointed military suits, a bullet packages of shells, 6 capsule of explosives and a large quantity of goods and materials used in the construction of its mines, were obtained from the center.

The development comes as two days ago, national security officers, had arrested a senior governor of armed Taliban for the district of Obe of Herat province.
