Four Policemen Murdered Mysteriously In Helmand
MEP: Four national police were mysteriously killed in their security shell in the northern city of Lashkar Gah, capital of Helmand province.
Helmand governor’s spokesman Omar Zowak told the Middle East Press, the incident took place last night in Sara Godar area.
He said four policemen were killed in the attack and the motive behind the incident has not been determined yet.
Zowak added that before killing the soldiers, gunshots were heard from the shells of the region and further investigations started.
Armed Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, a spokesman for the group, wrote in his Twitter account that two members of their influence killed seven soldiers.
