Businessman Shot Dead by Gunmen in Kabul

KABUL: (Middle East Press) A businessman was shot dead by unknown gunmen in capital Kabul on Monday morning.

Security officials in Kabul Police Department have confirmed that the incident took place in the second street of Qala-e-Fatullah.

Hashmatullah Stanikzai, spokesman for Kabul Police Department, said the incident took place around 11:30 am local time after a group of gunmen attacked the motor vehicle of the businessman.

Stanikzai further added that the businessman was firstly wounded following the attack and succumbed to his injuries while he was taken to hospital.

He said the attacker gunmen managed to flee the spot after opening fire on the vehicle of the businessman.

According to unconfirmed reports the gunmen have also taken a short case of the business with them following the attack.
