12 Insurgents Killed During Military Operations in Khost and Ghazni Provinces

KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 12 armed insurgents were killed following afghan military operations conducted by Afghan National Army (ANA) forces in Ghazni and Khost provinces.

The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said at least 7 of the terrorists were killed during the operation in Sabari district.

MoD said following a statement, at least 8 insurgents were also injured and various types of weapons, ammunition and explosives were detained during the operation.

The statement further added at least 5 terrorists were killed during an operation in Gilan district of Ghazni province.

MoD said at least 8 terrorists were also injured and explosives and weapons were confiscated.

A Taliban leader identified as Saifullah Kochi was also killed in the operation.

The insurgent groups have not commented about the reports yet.
