ANSF Detain Truck Full of Explosives in Paktika Province
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A truck loaded with explosives from eastern Paktika province has been detained by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF).
According to local security officials, the truck was seized from Orgun district late on Tuesday.
District police chief Nabi Jan Yah Khel said Afghans security forces also arrested two drivers of the truck.
Meanwhile, the drivers of the truck are saying that the Taliban insurgents forced them to pack their vehicle with explosives and transport them to Sar-e-Rawza district.
At least 57 people were killed and over 60 others were wounded after a suicide bomber targeted a volleyball tournament in Yahya Khel district almost two weeks ago.
