Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah reacted harshly to comments from Hizb-i-Islami leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar and described such statements as unhealthy obsession.
Dr. Abullah speaking at the council of ministers meeting today (Asad 30) called Gulbuddin a defeated person.

In a meeting with his supporters two days ago, Hekmatyar accused Massoud of having links with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI.

Gulbuddin also accused Besmillah Mohammadi, the former minister of defense, of corruption about proposing general ranks: that the former minister of defense had proposed even drivers to be awarded general ranks. Currently, there are 600 generals in Panjshir province only, an amount more than the whole Europe.

“Those who set allegation-making and alteration of history as a tool for popularity will get to nowhere,” Abdullah said

“People will reject those who make division-creating remarks.” The Chief Executive Abdullah added

Earlier, some current and former governmental officials including Amrollah Saleh had also reacted to  Gulbuddin“s remarks and called him as spiteful.
