Afghan Citizen Freed From Kidnappers In Iran
MEP: Provincial police in Tehran, capital of Iran, has announced of the identification and arrest of the four kidnappers that had abducted one of the Afghan citizens for 20 days.
According to police, an Afghan woman in July 28 attended the police information center in Tehran and reported her husband’s disappearance.
The woman has said that her 50-year-old husband since that time, was not available and his cell phone had also been turned off.
According to the woman’s statements, the kidnappers had asked two billion rials (about 4 million Afghanis) for ransom.
Meanwhile, Tehran police said the investigation of associates and related persons of the kidnapped individual has been determined that he was kidnapped by his friends.
According to the source, based on research conducted, Tehran police managed to identify Samad’s location (the kidnapped) in Baghistan district of Tehran province and in special operations, released him.
Tehran police said two Iranian citizens and two citizens of Afghanistan, with military uniforms were involved in the kidnapping of Samad and were detained by police.
