Afghan Diplomat Killed In Karachi Shooting
MEP: A shooting in the Pakistan’s Karachi city left at least one Afghan diplomat dead and two others wounded.
The incident occurred this morning (6 February) when an Afghan diplomat had an argument with the local guard of Afghanistan consulate in the city.
According to reports, the local Guardian of Afghan consulate initially opened fire as a result of its action, Mohammad Zaki Abda, head of the determination of this institution was killed.
Pakistani police said that after the incident, the local Guardian of Afghan consulate has been arrested.
However, Karachi police added that the incident is not linked to a terrorist nature but the investigation has begun.
Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not comment on the report so far.
