Afghan Police Prevents Suicide Attack In Takhar Province
KABUL: (MEP) The National Directorate of Security (NDS) arrested a group of suicide attackers and prevented deadly attack in Takhar province.
In a special operation on the outskirts of Taloqan, capital of Takhar Province, a suicide bomber was arrested along with seven of his colleagues, NDS said in a statement on Saturday.
According to the statement, they were identified as:
1. Mohammad Farouq alias Usman
2. Najibullah S/O Abdul Ghafoor
3. Khadimullah S/O Mohammad Ali
4. Zayedullah S/O Habibullah,
5. Hajatullah S/O Mohammad Zahir
6. Muhibullah S/O Abdul Bari,
7. Qari Niamatullah S/O Mohammad Zarif
8. Niamatullah S/O Abdul Munir
The criminals had planned to launch attack in the province and cause heavy casualty. However the security forces arrested them before reaching their goals, the statement noted.
