Afghanistan Embassy To Be Opened In Sweden
KABUL: (MEP) – Afghanistan embassy is expected to be opened soon in Sweden, as spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign told reporters yesterday that the move could expand bilateral ties between the two countries.
Janan Mosazai said that issue on opening the Afghan embassy in Swedish capital, Stockholm had been discussed between the Swedish Defense Minister and the country’s political deputy Foreign Minister, here in Kabul.
According to the reports, since 2002, Sweden had assisted $700 million for reconstruction of Afghanistan. In Tokyo meeting, the friendly country is also committed to provide an annual sum of $100 million for post-2014 Afghanistan for the next ten years, BNA reported.
