Afghanistan, India air route to reduce economic dependence on Pakistan
With the launch of the first air – economic route between Afghanistan and India, dependence of traders on Pakistan for the transfer of business assets, will be decreased.
The first economic cargo of Afghanistan is expected to be transferred to India on the line tomorrow (18 June).
Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Industries said that commercial properties of Afghan traders with the contracted parties will be carried out by Ariana Airlines cargo.
Given the high dependence on trade, commercial and economic assistance to Pakistan, now the economic path could probably reduce the dependencies and help the progress of the country’s economy.
The agreement for the establishment of Air – economic route was signed in December last year between President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Prime Minister of India on the sidelines of “Heart of Asia” summit.
