Bagram Jail Released 14 Pakistani Prisoners
KABUL: (Middle East Press) at least 14 Pakistani prisoners, who were kept in Bagram prison, were quietly released and transferred to Pakistan, reports say.
Justice Project Pakistan, a Pakistani human rights group announced the discharge of the prisoners on Saturday.
A lawyer with Justice Project Pakistan, Sarah Belal said the details of the released Pakistani prisoners were not disclosed so far.
She said the families of the released prisoners have not been informed and there are doubts that the released folks will be transferred to secret Pakistani prisons.
According to Justice Project Pakistan, at least 39 Pakistanis have been released within the past 10 months from the Bagram security prison.
