CEO Abdullah admitted the government fails to provide security    

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Unity government confessed on failure of the government to provide security and said the people who were involved in the recent insecurity, must be held accountable.

Abdullah Abdullah, today in a meeting of the Council of Ministers seriously reacted to recent events in the country and admitted to the failure of the Government of National Unity in securing.

He said when the security was short and insecurity causes hundreds of victims, people have a right to be angry and protest.

Abdullah pointed to reform and serious consideration in governance and service delivery by the government, said that some people in the House of Representatives, begun negotiations with the protesters and started to address their demands and is expected to lead to the desired result.

However, CEO Abdullah did not say anything about the accountable security officials over the recent attacks and opening fire on protesters but it’s since then that yesterday evening the duty of the President Garrison and the commander of the Kabul police in connection with the recent insecurities were suspended.

Abullah also said the distance between the people and the government is unprecedented and added the enemies in the current situation are desperately looking for fomenting ethnic, language, religious and that people should be vigilant.

The statements come after tents sit-in in recent days by protesters in parts of the capital have blocked ways and called for serious reforms in the security bodies.
