Explosion in Baghlan Killed 2 Judges

KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to reports, Northern Baghlan province was rocked by a heavy explosion on Thursday afternoon.

Kabul police spokesman, Hashmatullah Stanikzai, confirmed that a blast has taken place near the court building in Baghlan city.

Stanikzai further added that two judges were killed following the explosion which took place due an improvised explosive device (IED) planted in their vehicle.

Eyewitnesses in the area had earlier said that a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) was blew up near the court building.

No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility behind the attack so far.
