First Lady Warns On U.S. Assistance Ending

MEP: The First lady of Afghanistan during merry ceremony of the eighth of March warned on possible cut of America’s aid in the country and urged the Afghan government to be ready for it.

Merry ceremony of the eighth of March, attended by hundreds of women from across the country, was held today (March 2) at the Presidential Palace.

Rula Ghani, said the US President Donald Trump has not yet clarified its policies on Afghanistan and it would be likely to cut its assistance to Afghanistan.

She urged government leaders to be prepared in this regard.

According to the first lady, international assistance to Afghanistan is not entitled to permanent and this approach requires self-sufficiency in multiple sections that government leaders must be prepared for it.
