France Helps €10m in Bamyan, Wardak Agriculture Development
KABUL: (Middle East Press) The government of France has promised to help €10 million for agricultural development projects in central Maidan Wardak and Bamyan provinces.
The money will be spent on three development projects which will be implemented in Wardak and Bamyan provinces in 42 months time.
The projects will be implemented in Yakawlang, Saighan and Kohmard districts of Bamyan province along with Hese Awal Behsud and Hese Du Behsud districts of Maidan Wadak province.
The French ambassador to Afghanistan, John Mitchell Marlow said the projects are applyed with an aim to improve agriculture and livestock in Bamyan and Maidan Wardak provinces.
He said the projects will also focus on improving the living conditions of the farmers by providing them with the necessary education and trainings in agricultural field.
The Central Highlands Rural Development Programme is one of the massive projects which has kicked off in Maidan Wardak and Bamyan provinces during the present year.
