Gunmen Kill 13 Coalminers In Northern Baghlan
MEP: Local authorities in northern Baghlan province said 13 employees of a mining have been killed by unknown gunmen in Tala wa Barfak district and three others injured.
The deceased miners from Hazara ethnic were targeted at around 3:00 pm on Friday in Anar Dara area.
Mahmoud Haqmal, Baghlan governor’s spokesman confirmed the incident said that the investigation into the incident has begun.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack on the miners and Baghlan governor’s spokesman says it is still unclear who the perpetrators of the attack are.
According to reports, the victims of the deadly incident are citizens of Bamyan province.
