Intelligence Officer Shot Dead in Takhar

KABUL: (MEP) – An officer of National Director of Security NDS (Afghan intelligence agency) was shot dead early Monday morning in Taloqan, provincial capital of northern Takhar province.

NDS officer named Shireen was shot dead by Qadeer whom he disputed verbally, witnesses said. They added the body of Shireen was transported to the hospital.

Spokesman of Takhar police chief, Khalil Aseer, confirmed the killing of NDS affiliate, saying the killer was under police custody.
