International conference of Islamic countries hosts in Kabul
KABUL: (MEP) – The long-waited international Conference of the Islamic Countries is expected to be held in Kabul, where the religious scholars from more than ten countries including Pakistan and Iran would exchange views on peace, an official said Tuesday.
Spokesman for the High Peace Council (HPC), Mawlavi Shahzada Shahed told that the main idea of the conference was to focus on the Afghan and regional challenges and seek ways for restoring peace and security in the country, Wakht reported.
He said scientific, cultural and experience think-tank would attend the conference, the result of which expected to find a solution to the ongoing problems.
The participants would exchange views on the key issues of the region and challenges faced by the Islamic countries, said an MP and member of the HPC adding Afghanistan would be the main focus of the conference.
He said the conference was expected to find a solution for the ongoing challenges.
