Israeli Army Launches Airstrikes Against Gaza Strip
KABUL: (Middle East Press) The Israeli army have launched air-raids against Gaza Strip in an area following a claim by the Israeli military that a rocket was fired from the Palestinian enclave toward Israel.
According to reports, the targeted site was in the central part of the coastal territory.
No immediate reports were given regarding the possible casualties or damage from the airstrikes.
The Israeli army claimed that the raid was carried out a few hours after a rocket fired from the Palestinian coastal sliver hit an open field in the Eshkol Regional Council in southern Israel. No injuries or damages were reported from the alleged Palestinian rocket fire.
However, Palestinian officials and authorities are yet to comment on the Israeli claim and the airstrikes.
