Kapisa Provincial Council Member Killed In Mine Explosion

MEP: Qazi Mohammad Aman Mubariz Member of Parliament in Kapisa provincial council, was killed as a result of a roadside mine explosion in the province.

The attack took place on Friday in Khamzargar area of Kohistan district.

Security sources said that Mr Mubariz, was killed when he was heading towards home after noon prayer.

According to the source, two of his companions were also wounded in the blast.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
