Malaysian Woman Arrested for Marrying ISIL Militant

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Malaysian woman has been arrested in the country’s capital after marrying a militant with the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group through the Internet.

“We believe that she was first attracted to ISIL after watching its propaganda video on YouTube in November,” said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.

“She then got to know the North African fighter and eventually married him. He managed to persuade her to join him in Syria,” said the police official about the 27-year-old woman.

Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has condemned the crimes committed by ISIL in Syria and Iraq.
