Nearby $150 million financial aid from Turkey to Afghanistan
KABUL: (MEP) – The Turkish financial aid for Afghanistan will reach $150 million after 2015 in the country.
The coordinating aid from Turkey in the Northern Provinces, Kamel Qadir, stated that the Malana Jalaluddin Balkhi madrasa in the Balkh district would be reconstructed in the future.
Also, Turkey has provided assistance to buy equipment for a school in Mazar city.
Turkish officials in the Northern part of Afghanistan have stressed that they will continue their support for the country, Ariana news reported.
The coordinator of Turkish aid, Kamel Qadir, said, “Turkey pledged $150 million in aid to Afghanistan during the Japan conference.”
Qadir said,”The Malana madrasa located in Balkh Province will be constructed in the future and soon the practical construction work phase will be put out for bids.”
The Turkish Provincial Reconstruction Team is settled in Jawzjan Province and is providing oversight for the aid being provided in the provinces of Balkh, Sar-i- Pol, and Jawzjan provinces.
