NSP funds gone missing in Kandahar
Kabul: (MEP) – National Solidarity Program (NSP) funds worth 50mn AFN have been embezzled in the Shah Walikot district of southern Kandahar province.

Provincial council chief Haji Syed Jan Khakrezwal said community council members were under investigation and had been warned to return the missing funds. The investigation report would be published once the probe is complete.
Mr. Khakrezwal added more than a dozen community council members had returned the money under pressure and the remaining 13 members were given a month to do so. (Pajhwok Afghan News).
Similar embezzlement allegations have been raised in Shorawak, Maroof, Arghistan and Registan districts of the province as well.ions.
