Quetta Council Behind Poisonous Attack in Ghazni: NDS

KABUL: (Middle East Press) The Taliban group’s Quetta Council have been blamed by Afghan Intelligence – National Directorate of Security (NDS) officials for toxic car bombing in eastern Ghazni province.

At least 21 suicide bombers were behind the coordinated suicide attacks on provincial National Directorate of Security (NDS) compound, Afghan National Police (ANP) Quick Reaction Forces headquarter and provincial Information and Culture Directorate.

The attack was launched after two of the suicide bombers blew up the vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) near the entrance gate of NDS and Quick Reaction Forces compounds.

NDS officials said Saturday that six of the suicide bombers were from Pakistan who were trained and deployed to Ghazni province to carry out violence.

Haseeb Sediqi, spokesman for the National Directorate of Security (NDS) said it took 45 days for the Quetta Council to plan the coordinated attack in Ghazni.
