Continuous street block in the capital city center amidst hot weather and Ramadan has caused lots of problems for citizens and they call for having these problems solved.
Kabul citizens complaining about getting caught in heavy traffics moving inside the city, said on these days they are fast but have to walk long distances to get to their destinations.
“Streets in most parts of the capital like De Afghanan are blocked by the security forces and police are standing guard everywhere” told Mohammad Dawood to the Middle East Press
No traffic is allowed on central streets so in other streets there are heavy traffics said Mohammad Dawood
“Going to Chaman-e Hozuri from Ibn-e Sina hospital, it takes me two hours riding in cars or sometimes have to go on foot” Dawood complained
“For almost one week, Kabul has turned to an army city: ways leading to the city centers have been closed, the security forces are standing everywhere on conjunctions and giant army vehicles moving back and forth!” said Bashir Ahmad, another resident of Kabul.
He added this trend has tired people: on rush hours the problems get complicated with too many cars and crowd heading for Eftar, breakfast, but the streets seem too narrow to digest the people.
Large other citizens of the capital while being angry at this situation (ways blocked) called for solving the problem.
The capital central streets had been closed with containers and army trucks by security forces after Kabul residents petitioned the government on last Friday for lack of tight security which caused a bloody terrorist attack and left large casualties; the protest turned violent and protesters were shot by the security forces.
After the protest, the government closed all ways to the presidential palace to prevent any type of complaining gathering reach the place.
On last Wednesday attack more than 500 were killed and wounded and the Last Friday violent protest claimed lives of 5 and injured 10 other.
