Rocket Attack Kills 11 Members Of One Family In Helmand

MEP: At least eleven people that include eight men and three women have been killed in a rocket attack targeted their house in Sangin district of Helmand province, an official said on Friday.

The incident happened on Thursday night, Mohammad Karim Atal, head of Helmand’s provincial council said.

According to Mr Atal, the armed Taliban is currently handling the district, however the group did not comment on the report so far.

Investigations are underway.
