Signing the security accord should end the insurgent havens
KABUL: (MEP) – National security advisor considers war and peace in Afghanistan directly tied to Pakistan.
“Pakistan has caused the peace talks to be aborted,” said the National Security Advisor Rangin Dad Far Spanta. “For signing the security accord, America should choose between supporting the suicide attackers or the victims of terrorist attacks.”
Mr. Spanta added that war and peace in Afghanistan is in the hands of Pakistan. He said that Kabul’s demand from the White House is to use their powers to persuade Pakistan to enter peace talks for changing the situation for the good in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan’s President, Hamid Karzai, urged the world to honor the victims of Afghanistan.
Recently, Barack Obama said in his State of the Union speech that he would support a united Afghanistan in the long-term.
