6 Colleagues poisoned By Afghan Policeman In Urozgan

KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to local officials, at least six Afghan policemen were killed and one other injured by their colleague with the assistance of the Taliban in an outpost in Trinkot City of Urozgan province on Tuesday night.

Provincial Head of Security Gulab Khan says that the incident occurred  when a policeman poisoned six of his colleagues and hurt one other policeman with the support of Taliban militants at a station in Trinkot district.

According to Khan, the policeman escaped the area with the Taliban after the incident taking with them the weapons of the policemen.

Investigations are underway.

The Taliban have not commented regarding the attack so far.
