Suicide Attack Kills 11, Wounds 34 in Kunduz province

KABUL: (MEP) – A suicide attack in Kunduz province, eleven including governor district of Archy district, Kunduz province killed and at least 34 people injured, BNA reported.

The incident occurred around 8:30 am yesterday in an area known as Qarlooq, district of Dasht Arche in front of Mawlawi Ghazi Mosque.

The suicide bomber exploded his attached explosion materials while governor district of Archy with other local officials after attending a funeral ceremony was returning home.

Sayed Sarwar Hussaini police spokesperson of Kunduz said BNA, in the incident Saikh Sadruddin governor district of Archy with 10 others lost their lives.

On the other hand, local officials in the district said in this attack thirty-four people were wounded.

Doctors in Kunduz said, most victims of the incident are civilians who were attended on funeral ceremony.

Police Spokesperson blamed armed Taliban for the bloodshed and vowed to identify the culprits and bring them to the justice.
