Suicide attack shakes capital Kabul
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A heavy explosion shaked capital Kabul early Tuesday morning.
The blast took place around 6:30 am local time in Qasaba road when the suicide bomber detonated his explosives and the Security Deputy Interior Minister Gen. Ayub Salangi has confirmed this attack.
Gen. salangi further added that the blast had incurred some casualties; however, he did not disclose further information regarding the exact number of people killed or injured in the blast.
Preliminary reports suggest the target of the suicide attack was a private security firm, while other reports are saying that a military foot belonging to foreign forces was targeted in the attack.
In the meantime, Hashmatullah Stanekzai, spokesman for the Kabul police department, said at least 10 people were killed or injured following the attack.
Taliban group spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid, said the suicide bomber besieged an important intelligence compound of the foreign forces in Khwaja Boghra area.
